### Flagship Technology
At the heart of the Pavane lies the same proprietary forward correction technology that defines the Metrum house sound. FPGA-driven correction drives both mono DAC boards, resulting in low noise and extremely high linearity down to -135 dB—extracting the most delicate information from the lowest bits for a true 24-bit performance.
Four DACTWO Transient chips per channel handle the critical R2R ladder conversion, ensuring that timing remains pristine and distortion vanishes.
The Metrum Pavane can also be (factory) fitted with [DAC3 modules](/product/dac3) for an even more stellar performance.
### Power Supply Architecture
Like the [Adagio](/product/adagio), the Pavane features separate oversized toroidal power supplies for analog left, analog right, and digital circuitry. This division ensures that digital noise can never creep into the analog signal path, while the split analog supplies deliver exceptional channel separation.
### Distinctive Design
The Pavane is available in black or silver. The used top panel is a sandwich of steel and 4 millimeter thick tempered black coated glass and gives the Pavane very distinctive looks.
