Metrum and Sonnet at Dutch Audio Event Veldhoven 30 & 31 oktober 2021
This weekend the Dutch Audio Event will be open for audio aficionados to listen to good music, talk to the developers and get an impression of who is behind their favorite brand. Both Sonnet and Metrum will be present with a listening room at the Dutch Audio Event. Cees Ruitenberg presents the full Sonnet line and Roelof Lochmans will demonstrate the Metrum Acoustics set-up. New products on 'listening display' are Metrum DAC3, Sonnet Pasithea and the long awaited Acelec Model 1 compact monitor speaker.
A year after re-launch we are proud to show what we have to offer. Metrum makes their products in-house; front panels, knobs, circuit boards, everything. Assembly is done by our skilled team. The people working at Metrum are very experienced makers and they are proud of it. At the Dutch Audio Event you will have the opportunity to meet the team and ask us any question. The Metrum brand combines decades of experience with technological innovation. You can see – and listen to – the youngest generation of models, all equipped with the new DAC3 module. Listening setup consists of Ambre streamer, Adagio DAC with DAC3 modules and Forte Class A power amplifier. The very revealing Acelec Model 1 speakers complement the Metrum electronics set-up. The philosophy of the Sonnet Digital Audio brand is simple: “no bling bling”. For example: why three transformers when one is sufficient? Good wine doesn't need a wreath. In other words, why an Audi as a Skoda is just as high-quality? Behind the scenes of Sonnet, an old hand from the trade, Cees Ruitenberg, is at the controls. The combination of years of experience, a deep understanding and knowledge of the industry combined with new energy makes Sonnet a serious player that immediately opens doors in the audio scene. After all, good reviews are good reviews. Come and indulge in the beautiful sound scape the Pasithea, Hermes and Kratos portray for yourself! Visit Sonnet Digital Audio in room 111
