Purchase of our own pick & place machine!

Because we like to have the whole process of the making in our own hands, we recently purchased our own pick and place machine! This new toy makes it possible for us to automate the production of the printed circuit boards we need for our audio equipment. We used to do this partly by hand, which is a meticulous and labor-intensive job. Larger batches were outsourced in the past but we prefer to control the process ourselves, both in connection with planning and for perfect quality control. It is wonderful to see how the robot picks up the components and puts them in the exact right spot. Fascinating!
